Clean Your Brushes

A simple 4-step routine for extending the life of your brushes and keeping makeup flawless.

Step 1: Wet the Bristles

Use lukewarm water to wet just the brush head. Avoid soaking the handle or ferrule—this protects the glue and lacquer for long-term durability.

Step 2: Load Cleanser

Swirl your damp brush directly into the DL Beauty Solid Brush Soap. For a deeper clean, use the textured pad to help break down makeup buildup.

Step 3: Rinse Thoroughly

Rinse the brush under lukewarm water, gently massaging the bristles until the water runs clear. Repeat if needed for heavier creams or foundations.

Step 4: Dry and Reshape

Squeeze out excess water, reshape the bristles, and lay flat on a towel to dry overnight. Never dry brushes upright while wet—this can cause damage over time.
